Brewing Internal Trouble

A German client in the brewery industry needed a one-piece round component used as a spray mechanism for an industrial cleaning machine, a part defined by its intricate internal geometry.

The internal passages and bores had to be precise and leak-tight, machined into a single piece rather than assembled, which put all the difficulty inside the part where it's hardest to reach.

Mill-turn machining let us produce the internal geometry complete in minimal set-ups, with driven tooling reaching the cross-features and bores that defined the part's function.

Careful sequencing held the internal tolerances and surface finishes that made the spray mechanism work as designed.
